Print Settings for All taulman3D Polymers

Below are the base print settings for our line of 3d printing filaments.  As each 3d printer is different, if you have specific questions about settings for your project, please contact us for assistance.


Pro tips:

The best tip for printing with nylons is "dry, dry, dry".  Every roll of material arrives vacuum sealed with a desiccant, and once the spool is opened we recommend limiting it's exposure to moisture and humidity as much as possible.

For all nylon based materials, users should turn "OFF" any fans that blow on the printed part



Enviro PETG (100% Recycled)

  • Print Temperature: 235 - 252C
  • Nozzle: Any
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s
  • Retraction: 3-4mm
  • Bed Temperature: 50-80C​

Glass Fiber Alloy Nylon

  • Print Temperature: 250 - 260C
  • Nozzle: Hardened
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s
  • Bed Temperature: 55C
  • Bed Surface: Garolite or Glass

PA Cast Plate

  • Print Temperature: 280 - 300C
  • Nozzle: any size
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s
  • Retraction: 3-4mm
  • Bed Temperature: 55C

Alloy 910 HDT (High Heat)

  • Print Temperature: 285 - 300C
  • Nozzle: any size
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s
  • Retraction: 3-4mm
  • Bed Temperature: 55C

Alloy 910

  • Print Temperature: 250C - 260C
  • Nozzle: any size
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s

PCTPE

  • Bed Surface: glass heated to 45C with coat of PVA

Nylon 230
  • Print temp = 230C - 235C
  • Nozzle = any size
  • Print speed = 80% of  ABS speeds
  • Retraction =  3-4mm
  • Bed temp: 55C

Bridge Nylon

  • Print Temperature: 250C - 265C
  • Nozzle: any size
  • Print Speed: 40mm/s
  • Retraction:  3-4mm
  • Bed Temperature: 55C

guidel!ne

  • Print Temperature: 245C - 252C
  • Nozzle: any size
  • Print Speed: 50mm/s
  • Retraction: 3-4mm

  • For Medical use, PEI sheet heated to 70C

T-Glase
